Matthew has been performing semi-professionally since the age of 10, and in over a decade in this industry, he’s had some incredible opportunities.

He is classically trained, performing genres such as classical, baroque, and opera. He performs with the professional baroque ensemble “Arcady” - performing both original works by director/ composer Ron Beckett, as well as Handel’s Messiah and other works.

He graduated from the Metalworks Institute of Sound and Music Production with a diploma in Music Performance and Technology - Vocal Major. He studied all aspects of the music industry including music production and audio engineering, but also music business, entertainment law, music for tv & film, music history & ethnomusicology, live sound, and songwriting, amongst others.

There, he developed his passion for songwriting and began writing for other bands, as well as his own Roots Rock sound.
